In Kuruwitu, Kenya, locals have taken innovative measures to protect depleted fish populations and damaged corals. In doing so, they have future proofed livelihoods and food resources in their community. I produced this short film, which formed part of the #OurPlanetEarth impact campaign on BBC Earth.
