Fighting for forests and protecting apex predators like bears, wolves and lynx can benefit both humans and nature. Creating a national park in the Carpathian Mountains, the ‘ecological backbone of Europe’, is one way we can encourage peaceful coexistence. I produced this short film, which formed part of the #OurPlanetEarth impact campaign on BBC Earth.
